Dear Passengers, it is with much regret that Transborder Express wishes to advise the cancellation of the Surfborder service that runs from Canberra to Ulladulla due to lack of patronage over the recent months.
The last day of service will be Tuesday 31st March 2009.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank our customers for using the services over the past years.
From Monday the 10th of November all services will no longer use the Jolimont Coach Terminal.

Coach Services will depart from City Bus Interchange Platform 6.
From Monday November 10 2008 through ticketing will be available and will allow customers on Transborder Express Services to purchase one ticket from their origin to and from the Canberra Airport, and through to Queanbeyan on existing Deane's Buslines Services.

Public transport for the Canberra and Southern New South Wales region is set for change with the newly established Deane’s Transit Group. The new group identity brings together Deane’s Buslines Capital Region, Deane’s Buslines South Coast, AirLiner, and Transborder Express. The group will become the largest provider of passenger, charter and school bus services in Southern New South Wales, including Queanbeyan, Canberra, Yass, Bega, Merimbula and Eden.

Welcome to the Deane’s Transit Group, the new name behind Transborder Express. Deane’s is one of the largest and fastest growing regional transit operators in New South Wales and is dedicated to providing the best possible service to the residents of Yass, Murrumbateman, Hall and other residents in the Barton Highway corridor.
We are aware of the growth in travel demands in the Barton Highway Corridor, both from adults and children. However, before we make any alterations to the existing service we would like you to help us meet your needs by completing this survey and give us your suggestions and ideas.
This survey is primarily aimed to address the needs of persons travelling from Yass and Murrumbateman to Canberra/Queanbeyan and the Airport, for work, tertiary study, health services and shopping. Should any household have any specific suggestions regarding school bus services please note them in Section 15.

The Winter Alpine Express service now operates daily from May until October.
The final Winter return daily service from Canberra to Thredbo will operate on Sunday 19th October 2008.
The service will resume on May 1st 2008 for the '08 Snow Season.
